Intact Protein Analysis

The molecular weight (MW) of an intact protein can provide essential information about its primary structure and post translational modifications. Berg Diagnostics delivers rapid, accurate MWs for confirmation and determination of intact proteins.

MALDI/TOF and LC/MS are currently two methods of choice for intact protein analysis. Berg Diagnostics utilizes LC/MS as the default method, taking advantage of the higher resolution and mass accuracy of Orbitrap platform. In addition, LC/MS can resolve protein isoforms caused by variation in post-translational modifications such as the different glycoforms.

Post Translational Modifications (PTM) Characterization

Berg Diagnostics offers PTM Characterization services on purified proteins, such as acetylation, methylation, and phosphorylation modifications.
